The Creative Regions Summer School have been designed to introduce postgraduate students, practitioners and policy makers to the current academic knowledge and research in the field of creativity and local and regional economic development. It includes general introduction to the knowledge-base developed in this field, practical approaches to data analysis and interrogation as well as case study materials of local, national and international relevance.

Whether you are working with creative industries policy strategies or you are in the process of undertaking further research in this field, the Creative Regions Summer School will provide a sound knowledge-base and will help to direct and support your future learning in this field.

Please note, it is hope that the programme will become in the next years an accredited course, providing credits towards an academic certificate in this area. If you are interested in formal accreditation, please get in touch to discuss your needs: creative.regions@soton.ac.uk
